Removal of Slant Muzzel brake
Question:  I have a Yugo AKM-47 M70 series with a factory slant muzzel brake. I understand that it has 14mm LH threads and also has a spring loaded retaining pin. However, I can't seem to budge the muzzel brake when I try to remove it (turning it right)while depressing the pin. Any advice?

Answer:  is it tack welded?

you can try heating it up, using a wd-40 like oil
some people soak them overnight
